1. Access the Parent Portal
2. Submit an Application
Once you've begun an application in the Parent Portal, click the option to add a new student or continue with your application. Simply fill in the fields with your child's information, select Idaho Virtual Academy and click Submit.
3. Complete the Admissions Process
In this step, you'll provide more detailed information about your student and upload additional documents, such as proof of residency and a birth certificate. For a list of specific documents that will be required, contact our enrollment consultants at 866.339.9065.
4. Next Steps
All families participate in a pre-recorded webinar with an enrollment consultant. Additional documents may be required to complete your enrollment, depending on your student’s situation, and will be provided within your Parent Portal.
5. Receive Official Approval
Upon successful completion of the enrollment process, your student will be approved. Please check your email for important information regarding your student's status and how to access the Online School platform.
6. Complete IDVA Orientation
Students and Learning Coaches must complete assigned tasks in order to start school. IDVA will contact the family by email and phone prior to the student's assigned first day to communicate orientation expectations.

Please note that your kindergartner must be five years old by September 1 of the upcoming school year in order to enroll.
The school’s enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year shall not exceed 4600 students in grades K-12. This cap is an estimate based on preliminary support unit calculations for the 2021-2022 school year. Idaho code 33-5208(1) caps the maximum growth for charter schools at 30 support units over the previous year’s support units. If student numbers fall such that the school may reach the statutory cap before 4600 students are enrolled, the school will be considered to have reached the 2021-2022 cap and will follow IDVA Board Policy 902.5.
