Cognia, the largest global community of education professionals, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts thorough, on-site reviews of schools to ensure all learners can reach their highest potential. By being accredited, IDVA assures families that we meet the highest standards in education, giving students a high-quality, engaging, and supportive online learning experience.

Cognia works with more than 36,000 schools and school systems across the United States and 80 other countries, serving over 25 million students. The organization was created in 2006 from a merger of the North Central Association (NCA) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and it expanded further in 2011 with the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC).
