About Our School

Letter from Our Head of School

Dear Parents and Students,

As a publicly funded online charter school, Idaho Virtual Academy (IDVA) makes it easy for you to be an active participant in your child’s education. IDVA families are eligible to receive a loaner computer, complete curriculum, lesson planning programs, books and instructional materials, and the guidance of a certified teacher. In short, everything you and your student need to access an excellent 21st century education.

IDVA uses the engaging K12 curriculum. With this innovative learning program, IDVA provides an outstanding education where students demonstrate their knowledge and skills through state standardized tests. The learning program also allows families and teachers to work together to help students maximize their academic potential. Additional IDVA programs provide support for students with special needs as well as gifts and talents.

IDVA is not only about lessons; IDVA is a community. IDVA holds fun and educational monthly school outings in regions throughout the state. Students participate in a variety of activities, including K12 clubs, journalism, high school prom, and statewide graduation ceremonies. These events bring families together and create real connections within the IDVA community.

We are proud of IDVA’s achievements and our outstanding parent, community, and faculty support system. Not only are we proud of our school, we also believe it is a profoundly good choice for families that are interested in getting actively involved in their children’s education. We hope to welcome you soon to the Idaho Virtual Academy community.

Best Regards,
